LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Henderson Sport & Social, the new 180,000-square-foot fieldhouse featuring sports and community space, has an opening date.
A spokesperson says Sport & Social will officially welcome guests on Friday, Oct. 16.
The facility features four convertible basketball courts, hybrid turf fields for football and soccer, dedicated community and event spaces, a full fitness center, an expansive arcade area, 20 bowling lanes, a restaurant, a mini-golf course, a double-decker laser tag arena and more.
"We're thrilled to bring Henderson Sport & Social to West Henderson and introduce a destination where sports, entertainment and community can come together," Henderson Sport & Social General Manager Jeff Swanlund said in a statement. "From sports and recreation to entertainment and social experiences, this venue is designed to give guests a place to gather, have fun and create lasting memories year-round."
There will be a soft opening starting Monday, Oct. 5, with limited operating hours on Wednesday, Oct. 7, and Thursday, Oct. 15.
Built as a public-private partnership between the city of Henderson and Kemper Sports, the $70 million complex is open to the public with no membership required. Henderson residents are eligible for a 20% discount.
For the opening weekend, Henderson Sport & Social will also host a silent auction on Oct. 16 and 17. All proceeds will benefit Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.
